We are shocked to hear of the killing of Sir David Amess MP. Our prayers are for his family, colleagues and constituents. Even in our darkest sorrow, God will shine a light of hope. May peace and comfort be with us all. Amen.
Prayers for those in authority
Ths week our prayers are for people with responsibility for our area: councillors, politicians, planners, people working for local government and those who help keep things ticking. We pray for God’s wisdom and peace. Amen.
J27 prayers
Today we pray for everyone who works in the many shops, offices and factories around Junction 27. We pray peace and happiness for them and their families, and God’s blessing on them and all they love. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Uyghur prayers
Today our prayers are with the Uyghur people of Xinjiang. We pray for the thousands who have been persecuted and detained for their beliefs. We pray that all people around the world will have the freedom to live out their own faith. Amen.
