Saturday 21st November, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Christmas Fair
We’re getting ready for Christmas, and holding our popular Christmas Fair on Saturday the 21st November. From 10AM to 2PM the church will be open and we’ll have something for everyone!

- Arts and crafts
- Toys and games
- Raffle and tombola
- A fun Elfy Selfy booth
- Our fantastic cafe offering a range of food and drink
And … Santa himself will be there! It’s free entry, everyone is welcome!
Sunday 29th November, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Christingle
Christmas season doesn’t start properly until the Christingle service! Join us for this special family-friendly service where we think about the real reason for the season. We also raise funds for the Children’s Society, who do life-changing work with children and young people.
Thursday 10th December, 10:15 am – 11:15 am Carol Singing in Birstall Market Place
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without singing carols! Join us on Thursday 10th December at 10:15am in Birstall Market Place to sing some of your favourite carols, as part of this Churches Together in Birstall event.
Friday 11th December, 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm Beer & Carols at the Black Bull Pub
We are very excited to announce we will be holding Beer & Carols again this year at the Black Bull (on Kirkgate, next to the church) on Friday 11th December. Join us from 7:30PM to sing carols – traditional words, but definitely not traditional music! – and other festive songs. The pub will provide the beer (other drinks, including soft drinks, are available), we’ll provide the music – you provide the choir!
Sunday 13th December, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Carols by Candlelight
For this special yearly service we light our ancient church with candles – creating a beautiful and truly festive atmosphere. We’d like to invite you to join us for this traditional service.
Sunday 13th December, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Christmas Immerse – contemporary carols
We are very excited to be involved in a special seasonal contemporary worship evening on the Sunday 14th December, 6PM at Dewsbury Minster. Several local churches are involved, and each quarter we hold this service at a different church in the area.
With music led by our live band you can expect contemporary versions of carols, plus some more modern Christmas praise and worship songs, and the opportunity to receive prayer.
Saturday 19th December, 10:00 am – 11:00 am Carol Singing at Junction 27
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without singing carols! Join us on Saturday 19th December at 10AM outside Boots at Junction 27 retail park to sing some of your favourite carols, as part of this Churches Together in Birstall event.
Thursday 24th December, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Crib Service
Join us on Christmas Eve for this family-friendly service, where we’ll be preparing for Christmas Day by learning what it’s all about. Get dressed up in your best Christmas jumper, you can even come as a reindeer or an elf or Santa himself! We’d also love for you to stay and share some festive refreshments with us after the service.
Thursday 24th December, 11:30 pm – 12:30 am Midnight Communion
As Christians have done for many hundreds years, we’ll be seeing in Christmas Day with a special traditional communion service. Whether it’s your first time joining us on Christmas Eve, or you’re a regular, we’d love to welcome you to church.
Friday 25th December, 10:45 am – 11:45 am Christmas Day Celebration
This Christmas Day join us in church for a special family-friendly service. Show off your Christmas jumpers (or socks!), let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus together.
